The Fall Social, 2016

The Swedish Club Fall Social meeting was held at the Terry Trueblood Park Lodge, Iowa City, on Sunday, September 18. This year’s event was planned and hosted by Dave and Jane Bousfield and Susan and Lee Wakefield who treated us all to vanilla and chocolate ice cream with a Sundae bar of toppings and sauces as well as cookies.

In addition to the ice cream we were fortunate to have Swedish Fiddle Music provided by Ann Bosold and Anne Lindyberg of Fairfield, Iowa. Anne Bosold has previously performed in Iowa, Wisconsin, North Carolina and other Midwest Nordic Fests.

There were about 50 members, guests and children who enjoyed this magical fall afternoon which came with a perfect sunshine and weather!
